Quick question about this. Will it add a notification of some sort on the forum main page so people do not have to view thier profiles to find out that they have a new PM?

thats funny ive installed it a number of times on 6.2.1 boards with no problem. true some points take a little thinking, but its like that to maintain compatability with 6.2.0.
dont post such such childish nonsense in here. if you cant figure it out, dont install it, its as simple as that.

to tell you the truth jordo i hate thinking. but i had to if i wanted to install this hack. i waited to see if you was going to update the install so i would not have to do any thinking but it looked like you was going to so i had to think. but hey it still works good if you think.

Using Clankiller's text file, I created a Multihack file for this hack. I just installed it to my test board, and it seems to be working. I had this same hack installed on my previous 6.05 and someone posted a small mod that would play a wav file onload when you had a PM

Is there a way to mark all messages as read and / or clear the PM Inbox notification manually without deleting all cookies?
I am using the PHP accellerator to display my ubb so the PM Inbox obviously isn't clearing itself out when the messages are read.

Hmm. I've tried to install this hack three times now, and I keep getting internal server errors. I've followed the instructions completely, I'm 100% sure. My board is 6.2.1.1 - could there be compatibility issues with the new one?

It work fine in my board I have changed some thing in it so that it only works if you are logged in and you have a message. Also it will be shown under the log welcome message in the top of the forum in each forum or topic To do this ignore the change in public_forum_summary.pl And instead of this find in public_common.pl code:
