UBB.Developers Forums UBB.classic V6 Mod Questions Membership List problems :(

Hi People,
Maybe someone can help me out...

I'm running UBB6103 with several (working) hacks.
However, the membership list I have (V.6.4.0) doesn't seem to work completely.

It can see the number of members (I set the config to list one member per page and get the right number of page links).

However, there are no names or other details listed.

Perhaps someone can suggest where I went wrong

It's currently the test site until I have migrated as many of the old UBB5x hack I've used over the years...

when you first installed mod wordlets on your board, how did you install it. did you use the installer provided by qasic for who's online?

if so i think this is the second case of this problem occuring. why it is happening is beyond me.

from the results that MrStormyNights reported, he got the Memberlist to work by doing a fresh install and then using the Mod Wordlets installer I provide with the Memberlist mod.

All hacks were added manually, following the instructions in the various info/instructions files very carefully.

All hacks were installed on my home system first and tested, then installed on the test server.

One thing I did notice, in the version of the membership hack for UBB5 there was a "run-this-script-to-generate-list-of-initials" script that created the a.cgi - z.cgi etc scripts. However there doesn't seem to be one in the this version of the hack. Is it needed?

Hi DPK,

I've found your other thread about this hack, and You may be partly right.

I installed (manually) the Who's Online hack before the Membership hack.

I'll have a play with the mod wordlets and see if I can correct this problem.

the v6 version of memberlist doesn't require executing a script to create those files. so ure fine there.
