I installed the mod but I had a problem:
1. For a new member: the data of the new fields data is not written to the file
2. But when the profile is edited: it works fine?!?!
I looked long and hard at the "# Open ubb_registration.cgi" section of the code -- where it says:
I wondered why the $user_profile array went after. But even more confusing was how the custom data was going to be
included in the array (thismemarray)
Well, on a lark, I took the four "$in{customfield5}" variables and stuck them into the thismemarray.
Voila! The data for my new custom fields now is written the first time around, too.
I figure I must have downloaded an early version of the hack, but I had gone back to check and noticed Ramirez' post on 11/11. The file in the
thread is the same one I have.
I must have missed something there. Hope this helps.
