in a forum with multiple pages the page numbers are showing up on the top left side.
can i change this so it is showing on the bottom right side of the page please?

Do you mean you dont want it both places? If you think its not at both places then go in v6 Mods Questions --> Click Show All Topics. Then go to the bottom and look.
