I just upgraded from a 5.xx board to the newest 6.04 one. And when I try and move posts I get this error:

"Invalid input! One or more items submitted in the form are not in the proper format.
ยป Please use your browser's back button to return."

Anyone got any ideas?

When I had upgraded everyones memeber name was the URL of their custom avatar, since I had the avatar hack installed on the 5.xx UBB. I figured out how to fix this by deleteing the URL line in each member file, could this be why i'm having the prob?

Everything else seems to work fine.

I have the same problem. And so do many other people. So if anybody can help that would be great.

Thanx

it was a bug in the 6.04f zips that were up for the first few hours...redownload the files right now and reinstall - or go look in on the infopop message board in the ubb6 bugs section, as it explains what the problem was in a number of threads.

i'm stumped right at the moment.

see, infopop released 6.04f with that particular bug, but fixed it immediately, but failed to implement them in all the downloadable zip files. by now i'm sure the fix is there. please do try downloading them again. the only file you have to touch is public_move_topic. you don't need to reinstall the hacks to the other files.

right now all i can do is check your files manually. you can email me at [email protected]. please attach your public_move_topic.pl file along with it.

You need to get the latest zip files from IP to fix the problem. If your forum is heavily modified, then use Beyond Compare to transfer the changes. I have done it many many times, it only takes a few minutes to do it.

You don't get the error if you didn't upgrade to 6.04f. If you upgraded to 6.04f with the early files, then surely you are able to upload the latest changes with the files they made available within a few hours afterwards.
