go into your /NonCGI/Templates directory and open up public_common.pl and do a search for it. Be aware that not all of the templates use $standard_title_table and you will, if you want to make it clean, have to hack a few others (off the top of my head, post_new_reply.pl and post_new_topic.pl). Also, do a search for BBTitle in public_common.pl so you can get rid of the various error page header's, as they also don't use $standard_title_table.

Good luck!

I took it out of all the templates at one board, and used the header in the style templates to replace it. You are going to have to edit a lot of .pl's to get every page to look right.

I still think template hacking is the most fun, and produces the most unique results.

In common_pl I removed everything in the $standard_title_table and $search_standard_title_table except for the table. Left that for spacing reasons.
In common_pl, there are 3 more places that you must edit to make sure your UBB will keep the theme through out all the pages. Once you do that you can edit the rest of the templetes. It's alot of work but it's worth it.

I got an error in public_forum_summary.pl

I edited that file without editing public_common.pl, I just deleted the $standart_title_table line and rewrote it to show the $show_logout thing. But now it gives me an error!

http://forum.invoid.net/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi

is the error caused by public_common.pl?

You need to leave that in, only remove what's in the table.

quote:
$standard_title_table = qq~

~;

$search_standard_title_table = qq~

~;

On the rest of the templetes you edit do not remove $standard_title_table or else you will rpobably get an error also. I think I did when I first did it. Some of the templetes won't have $standard_title_table at the top, but they will have some standard HTML in place instead. You will want to remove that, if you choose to do so.

Best way to go is to make sure you keep your headers between $TBT and $TBB. These are your basic and
formatting. But you might already know that.

dammit im stupid, I still dont know which out of all $ commands to delete tipsy

The only page that gives me an error is the forum summary, if the others dont give me any errors, should I just leave them as they are?

I left them alone (meaning in all the templetes I left them do what ever they were trying to call), and get no errors. But I did edit them in the common_pl.

All the templated have been hacked. I just went and deleted the $standart_title_table in all the templates and there are no problems.

The error was causes by a leaky javascript smile
