Can a flash animation sequence be made not to loop?

Not a stupid question! Yep, but you would not know it to see a majority of the sites out there Just add a stop action in the frame you want it to stop in or make it stop by setting a flag. this is off subject but this is still one of the most inspiring flash sites I know of right now - http://www.meltmedia.com At least in my list [ March 14, 2001: Message edited by: freakscene ]

yea, same happened to my friend psychopathic... he forogot to stop it and lost the original file, now our main movie is looping constantsly and so is the mp3 that was embedded in there!! If you stay at the main site with your speaker on for 2 mins u'd go nutz with that constant loop. always save a backup copy or your flash!!

Well I'm working on mine.. too crude to share yet..LOL Oh BTW, Dreamweaver allows for loop, or non loop.
Big help. I did use your tips though!

Yeah wuggi, I ran into a similar situation with a webpage I was building... all you have to do is insert "loop=false" into the HTML. That way it will just play through once and then stop...
