i know.... this subject about the side bars have been asked over and over again... But i have read all the topics about the sidebar but i cant find ONE that is working

i want to place the sidebar in my UBB Classic 6.3 but either i get it on top or at the bottom... never i get this sidebar at the left or right

what am i doing wrong?

is there anyone that can hgelp me on this one?

You need to put it in a table..
So for example, for your header:
<table width="100%">
<tr>
<td width="however big you want your forums">

And your footer:

</td>
<td width="your sidebar width">
sidebar content
</td>
</tr>
</table>

That should work.

you have now released the right sidebar

If you want a left sidebar:

Header:

Or at least, that should work...

Can someone please tell me why this isnt working? I've tried all of the above tags along with others looked up else where and still no luck. I just want it to the right like on this board.

1) Your header insert includes [html] and stuff like that. It won't affect it, but it'd be best to remove it.
2) It looks like you put it in a new [tr] - which won't work.

Replace [ and ] with less than and greater than signs. I kept getting the most useless error message ever - "HTML".

It didn't work.

Header:
In your Messageboard CP you'll see the picture below. Where it reads "Header Insert" is where you would put your HTML for the top. DO NOT put it in the one called Header. As for the right and left side bar, follow the instructions above and or through out this thread, and it should work fine.
