I've seen plenty of places saying yes we give you unlim bandwidth then they people reach 10GB per month and there account is deleted for going over the max ammount. That makes no sence, false advertising. Oh yeah and about your question

Well I think our forum takes up about 100-200MB's. Thats my guess. My FTP doesn't say how big the folders are.

With 7000 users we need 150 MB Diskspace but you can have 20000 user with 50 MB. If nobody is posting you need no space.

Hostboard takes just about 20gigs of disk space. Uncompressed I transfer close to 100gigs of data per month. Compressed I can get it down to about 40gig. 49,000 users 800+ forums and growing! All running on UBB 5.42a

5.42a? You have a big community over at your forum. How long has it been up for?

Based on the document "The History of Hostboard" it was launched in mid January 1999. I am the second owner taking ownership at the begining of this year. In the last year Hostboard has exploded adding over 200 forums and 10,000 registered users. In 2002 I expect to go well beyond that.
Hostboard is in the process of upgrading to UBB v6.1.0.3 But you have to understand the complexity as Hostboard as it is unlike any UBB system out there in that it allows each moderator to cusomize their forum as they want thus every forum is different. To make things more difficult the extreme change in code between UBB versions is requireing a complete re-write of every modification as well as the style in which it is presented in not to mention adding alot more features on top of it all.
