I'm going to be switching my UBB to a different host. Are there any files that I shouldn't or don't need to back up?

If you plan on restoring your ubb to the way it was, all files are needed. If you plan on not moving topics, dont move them. All files are needed, and its best to copy all info in UltBB.setup that you need, and not the absolute paths, then use that setup file so you dont need to figure out your paths.

Okay, thanks guys. But there's a small problem.

See, my FTP program can't download files from my server if they're empty, and some of the files for my UBB are empty. What should I do about those?

I have moved several sites to new servers, what kinda files are you talking about?
