For those who are rather new around here, you won't recognize any of these, but for old people like Charles, Deb and I , this will bring back some memories:

Ahh cool stuff. I feel sometimes that I was here from the start but I'm clearly part of the New Schoolers to UBB.

I always remember Charles' policy reminder on the Main Page . Not sure why, maybe guilt? maybe it's just because it seemed to stay there for a _very_ long time.

BTW, I did have a different username back then, I might have to find one of my UBB5 hacks to confirm what it was.

how did you find your first post there? When I search for all posts by me, it only showed the last 193

I remember that post, I searched the last pages of feature suggestions instead of searching the first post of my username

Sad thing is, I remember ubbhackers ... When I got back into the UBB earlier this year that was the first place i tried to go, i cried when i got a page error...

Ah, UBBHackers.com... I visited occasionally in the days of UBBH and SK, but I wasn't actually a participating member, neither was I registered. (I first regiustered here in September 2001, but lost my password and access to my... *Shudder*... AOL address, so I had to reregister.)

Fantastic piece of history though, Allen, it brings back a couple of memories

Ah yes... I do remember. I just never knew what all this hack stuff was about. Some things never change.

also... I had a UBBHackers account. What a scary time that was.

I also remember bugging Mark B on SK. He helped me (on his own time since he was a volunteer) setup and troubleshoot my very first UBB.

I went back to find my first post, but it's not there... or I can't find it. I find my first post to be in 2001. Well, I know for a fact that was bugging Mark and Co. way back in '99.

I remember the script keeper bb, i posted there i think, maybe that was it, for the ultimate guestbook, that i was using at the time until it was known that had too many holes in it to work good.

ubbhackers was before my time tho...
