I've wondered for the year I've been here (well, I think it's been here all that time ), what is this?

It's a water cooler. (where we get together to gossip... er, share ideas. )

I still think it looks more like an ice cube.

One of those face boulders that don't let you pass in games.

I can answer that...it's "Gerg the Water Cooler". Why Gerg, that's easy, water coolers make a gurgling noise when you use them. Gerg first appeared in the July 2002 U-Zine for our Featured Programmer interview with Greg (not Gerg) Hard. We like to add little images so the U-Zine has a little more pizzaz, and figured why not gather around the proverbial water cooler for the interview.



We liked Gerg, yeah, we also like Greg, so we decided to make him an every day part of UBBDev. So we scaled him down into a teensy weensy little post icon. So when you post a Cool topic, make sure to use the coolest cooler in town...Gerg!
