UBBDEV Members,
Some of you may have noticed that, along with all of the other changes, we are not using the word "hack" anymore, but instead using the word "mod." I would like to explain our reasons for this right now.
In order for this site to achieve all of the goals that Allen, myself and now Deb have outlined for it, we needed to remove any negative stigmas that may have been previously attached. This included certain administrators/moderators (who are no longer "employed"), the name itself (i.e. UBB Code Hacking Hideout), and of course, the word "hack."
We felt that the word "hack" alluded to illegal activity, when in fact this is far from the truth (at least in reference to this site). Therefore, we adopted the word "mod" instead.
I hope that clears up any confusion that you might have had. If you have any further questions or comments, please post them in the forum and we'll be more than happy to answer them for you.
Regards,
Digital Boy

How do you mean? THe word hack was never come up with anyone at the SK forums. Hack has been around for ever, and not in its current negative forum. The true definition of hacker: Found at http://www.tuxedo.org/~esr/jargon/html/entry/hacker.html ------------------ Da Wannabe Cannuck Andy Tomaka YaBB Developement Team AndyTomaka@yabb.org http://www.yabb.org
