HostBoard is *slightly* modified
I called InfoPop and forgot the guys name I spoke with but he was kind enough to telnet to the server and poke around. Got a small gasp on the amount of CGI files and directories. Seems the directory /usr/local/hostboard/mainboard/ubb/ was set at 755 for permissions and he said it should be 777 (the cgi-bin directory is at 777) But this still is not working. Not sure if I should bounce the server after I reset the permissions since it is a few hundred directories (600+) not including files. I chmod -R UBB to recursivly set the permissions. Navaho, sure your couriosity is not peeked to come take a look at what HostBoard has been able to do but from behind the scenes <vbeg>
Anyways same problem and the request for help still goes out to any Linux/Apache gurus that also understand UBB.
