In fact we have had three companies pay that.

They felt it gave them a leg up on the competition.

(don't ask, I don't understand either)

Today we had an inquirey from a competitor to one of those people gladly willing to pay the 750 to have what his buddy had been bragging about.

I will never truly understand people who have far too much money and time on their hands.

OK, let's condier this ... we call this forum UBB Developers Network ... It's not like we try and hide the fact that we're affiliated with InfoPop, and why should we? They've done nothing but bring us traffic.

That's exactly my point. Kudos to InfoPop for reeling in a few suckers! I mean people, do I need to spell it out for you:

It is still legal if you change the color and the size of the text. It just has to be readable. Therefore, changing the text to a size one and the color to a light gray (on a white page) accomplishes two things:

1) The copyright is there
2) It's not an eye sore (not like it ever was)

Geez ... I should get at least $400 for just spelling out the obvious.

The people buying it are commercial sites. They feel if the site appears to be all their own it is more valuable. I think this type of thinking is fading fast..

since people have so much extra cash, I'm available to do consulting work. I'll visit your site and point out weak spots, etc..
Make suggestions, recommend software.

Fee's are reasonable..

You'd be surprised what kind of money people have to piss away. I've received my share of it over the years too (hey if they're gonna piss it away, *I* want to get it...)

I think the record would be $150 for LITERALLY 25-30 seconds worth of work. No kidding.

I had someone who I was doing work for and it totaled around $350 (for about 20 minutes of work... good deal too! ). He wanted one more feature added and said "how bout you add that and we make it an even $150". I said sure.

Opened the code, did a search for the print statement, added a



to the print statement to get his variable to appear on screen. Saved the file.

Granted, the non-programmers don't have any idea what is involved, so to them it's worth it. If its worth it to them to spend, who the hell am I to argue with with taking that money?
