Yeah of course ya can play it online...It's loads of fun, if you want you guys can download the demo version for the official quake 3 website. http://www.quake3arena.com It's loads of fun like I said, even for grown-ups! I'm not sure if the demoversion will work on multiplayer, and oh yeah... NOTE: This game is very addicting, worse than Nicotine Pyros ------------------ Quality Pages designing the world professional web pages for affordable prices.

Ahh yes UkLiam, yuppers I'm arranging hopefully a weekend game, even though I'm free for tonight? I live in Eastern Time Zone (Toronto, Ontario to be exact). So hopefully you'll be able to tell the difference. I plan in playing a TDM game in a Cquest server: IP: 63.224.69.220 PORT: 27960 It's a team deathmatch server, and has no fraglimit or timelimit, but we can easily play a game of half an hour to an hour if you want? Let me know if you're up for it, if you see this today tell me what time you'll be on (and your time zone). If not hopefully we shall meet on the weekend... ------------------ Quality Pages designing the world professional web pages for affordable prices.

I have quake 1. I've been thinking of buying Quake 3 since I have a brand-spanking new ass-kicking joystick.
Anyway, playing online sounds like fun. I should try that sometime...

Yeah you should buy Quake 3 its tons of fun. It's great to play multiplayer if you have a cable connection or higher, but if you use a 56k or lower, there's gonna be tons of laggin in your gameplay. Playing Quake 3 will be harder with a joystick, cause chances are there aren't enough keys for the main moves. The keyboard is the best weapon for quaking if ya ask me! ------------------ Quality Pages designing the world professional web pages for affordable prices.

unfortunatly, I have 56k.
As for the joystick...maybe, maybe not. I play Rogue Spear with a joystick and it's a pain in the ass, too many buttons. But then, thats a fairly complicated game. Anyway, I have....8 buttons on my stick, plus anything on the keyboard...that should cover it all.
Anyway, I'm going to go play quake now, this download is taking forever.

Hmm..well I suppose 56k isn't too bad. It'll lag on you about 40% of the time, or maybe if you're lucky only 25%. Yeah I had a joystick too once, I tried playing with Quake III but found out it was incredibly hard. I think I'll be sticking with the keyboard for now... Also, if you want you can download that demo version I had posted above. But you will not be able to play multiplayer with that version. ------------------ Quality Pages designing the world professional web pages for affordable prices.
