do you provide some form of reward for your users?

like ubbdev's avatar reward for contest winners (and putz's like me!). or a special forum for those with 1000 or more posts? or a new user status name? the ability to include images in signatures?

and, if so, do you find this is a beneficial aspect -- "urging" users to get to that plateu to gain the extra feature?

Well some ideas are things like Custom Titles etc. but we allow those for all members.

I guess the only one I can think of is Moderation. I guess that could be a reward? o_O

Yeah, being modded is a pretty big thing, cause it doesn't happen that often...

I would add a forum for members with around 500 or more posts, but (a) there are quite a few of them, (b) I don't want to manually edit permissions every time someone hits 500, and (c) there isn't a hack that can automate this process yet. I should have a go at writing one...

Just as long as there isn't many it would be more of a reward. If the whole forum is moderated then they'll just feel like everyone else.
