Well I finished my FFRepublic Forums. If you don't know already, I am making a Final Fantasy Website. It's going to be called Final Fantasy Republic (ffrepublic.com). Well anyways, check out my Forums and tell me what you think, if you would like:

I don't like the background colour that much try changing it. Also if you do that change the link colours to your background colours like you have done.
The banner needs some work still make the font a bit bigger.

Other than that the forums are good.

The table backgrounds have a slight hint of blue in the grey, but the page background is real grey, and doesn't look very good. Try getting a bgcolor that's a little bit more blue.

And like someone said, the logo does need to have the text bigger...

Also, the on/off lightbulbs need some work. Usually I'm able to tell right away, without looking at the icon legend, which means on and which means off. This time I had to look close to even see a difference at all... There's only a few pixels difference from what I can see. You may want to get more distinct on/off bulbs so it's not so hard to tell which is which.

I like the color scheme. You may consider tweaking it a little bit like others have suggested, but I think you are onto the right track.

I think the console on the top right looks a little naked sitting there by itself. You might try encasing it in a table, perhaps one that extends from all the way across the top, behind your logo. Just a thought.

As Skorpion said, the lightbulbs ARE confusing. Try modifying the 'on' graphic to have some inner glow.

I really like the forums! Great Job! The layout is simple. Which can be good on some boards.
