They both look very professional, but I like the first better. The second one you listed looks like just another corporate website, and the first one has a little more character.
However, the first one still needs some work. Its a little messy, in my opinion. That background image makes things a little hard to read, and seems to push things together. Lastly, the title image and the drop-down bar do not connect...it looks out of place.
But overall, I really think that design (
