Is there an easy way to make a content island that only lists sticky posts/ announcments (using Ians Announcement Mod) ?

This is just me babbling on...

You'd need to open the announcements file, and grab the info from in there. This is easy, and I wrote a really easy to figure out file. Open it up, iterate over each line, passing it through &unflatten_hash and you'd got what you need from there.

Stickies would be harder, as those are different for each forum. If you only wanted to grab stickies from one forum, it'd probably only involve opening the sticky file and iterating through that, along with the .threads file

That probably didn't help much, but I believe that's how it could be done.
