Per Charles's request ... I'd love to see a mod/hack where there's a custom field (like is currently in place) but will also ALLOW for the field that keeps track of *post counts* to also be in place.

IOW, the custom field title doesn't REPLACE the post count field--but it is in addition to it.

Does that make sense?
