please will someone make iti tried to alter the one from ubb5.45c but nothing is the same in the files nor could i even find a clue to were to edit the files

ubb 6 has the rate member feature so that is not realy needed.

can i alter it so only mods and admins can give it out and instead of it showing stars it show

0r how ever it is there i want to beable to praise
and warn cause with 10 -awards you get auto banned

the karma hack looks better then rate member cause then anyone can rate that person not just a admin or mod and you cant take it away when they act like a [censored]

Actually, I've always wanted karma but no one seems to want to port it.

I posted a similar topic like this a few months back requesting the Karma hack, but no one is porting it to UBB6.1

there i had a idea to make the karma a little better so that you can say if its an award or a warn hack. i think this would be a great future.

well i was thinking more along the lines of the rate hack alter it so it says award and instaed of stars showing up a number shows up and just click on rate member which will say awards: and that is how you will give it out avery time you click on it is says give/take

i think this will be a easyer way to do it

i downloaded the zip and read over the files, keep in mind im not a good hacker. but form what ive seen in other hacks ive installed. this can be ported

If someone is willing to help me learn to write tot he memeber profile, can I do this, I have most of it done. if someone is willing to help I will share with the public, if not i will learn, and do it on my own, and be stingy

Weel, once I find out how to right to memeber profiles [ gonna look how the posts does it .

In the Cp. you have to option to set how much karma can be takin away within the given time, default is 1 week; therefore A user can only give 10 points of karma per week, or take it awhile per week, admins can give how much they want, and the person with the ftp .

No auto ban, 'cause users would ban poeple for disagreeing with them, and so on, or some are just mean like that

SU: look at a few hacks that do it, i think ull find wat your looking for <img src="biggrin.gif" border="0" alt="" /> . go ahead and relase it, once u figure it out,im not ganna be done for a bit, sned it my way for testing if needed

The autoban feature would be somewhat hard. Because either it would have to check evrytime some has a warning and if 10 then go into a sub that bans them, or it would have to go through each member's profile ever so often causing a hell of a lot of server load. <img src="frown.gif" border="0" alt="" />

the auto ban is a nice feature but not essential.

the main point of this mod is to give awards or warns and i say get that working first and get it shipping before updating it with an auto ban feature.

personally i'de rather not have the auto ban and keep that control for myself.
