Just throwing this out here to see if it's do-able or already been done.

I would like the front page of my site to be able to detect the cookie from a member and be able to pull info out of their profile to use on that front page in SSI. The URL could be something like this:

/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=profile_details&var=2

And say var=10 matches up with the member's publically displayed name. So then in SSI I could throw in a:

"Hello <!--#exec cgi="cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=profile_details&var=2"-->, welcome back to the site"

And we could do this with all the elements in the user's profile, like their private messages, or their Picture, etc.

Maybe even extend this past just the profile and be able to pull UBB's variables, like total posts on Forum X or something.
