Darin Simmons had a great hack for UBB5.x that allowed users to upload photos that would appear in their messages. The photos would be stored on the UBB server's hard drive.

It's good for a message board participant who can't use the [img] UBBCode because the image to be posted was only on the user's hard disk, not a Web site.
I'm going to be using UBB6 on a new site, running with mod_perl, and Darin's hack clearly won't run under mod_perl.
I'd love to contact him and ask if he's going to make an update of his attach hack mod_perl-friendly, and how to find out when he's done, but I don't have any contact info. Anyone have help for me here?
Or do you know of other hacks of this sort?
