This is nothing against you spawn, but I thought once all the 5.XX hacks came back (your boards) people would want more and more.. Instead 5.XX series has gone belly up

Alot of people are still using the 5 series. But hacking has gone down since his board was up last year.

I haven't seen that many 5.XX boards around lately, or maybe I haven't been looking....
I still dont' see what people like about 6.XX so much.

They are still 5.XX boards. Not much of those are hacked though. So thats why it's been going down.

I've hacked mine to look like the 6.XX series, thats about the only good thing about 6.XX " the look "

I liked the 5.XX look better.

I like the 5.XX boards better than the 6.XX

I did, but 6.XX is becoming alot more customizable, and alot more new features and hacks.

I HATE the way 6.xx looks and feels, and their PM ripoff sucks too.

The v6 PM is OK once there is some form of notification of new PM's on the main page.

The only thing/feature I like about 6.XX is the profile page and rate members.

Bass has been doing some good things. 5.xx is not gone....just moving slow in old age!! LOL

Yeah, I wonder how long Infopop will keep v5 in the Membera area and supported for...

Cool, I think maybe the secret to getting more members here is more hacks and maybe a bigger Hack database. You know Viper you could get some of the hacks off SpAwN's board and add them to UBBDev, he has every single v5 hack there is. And the links work.

I know this is off-topic, but I don't feel like screwing around at Infopop's board about this.

Ever since i moved my board, when I send mass mails to members, some get the mail, others don't, and the ones that don't DO have the option to receive mail from the UBB turned on. The UBB says it sent them all. Version 5.39. Doesn't have the rebuild function.

I have a funny feeling a file is partially corrupted, or some cleanup needs to be done somewhere.

Can someone help me solve this?

I think the best 6.xx improvements that I don't think they have any hack are templates, wordlets and the new control panel. There is a PM hack & a WOL hack, and I assume there are also rate member hack, anchor hack and custom graemlin hack.

I still got the old 5.45c running! Got over 3000 members now, they still like the UBB...although it must be said, if i ever do move, probably might move to the "V" place
