This hack works with Private Messages Version 2, but should work with the newer version as well.

What it does is add an "Abuse Button" at the bottom of all threads that sends a PM to ONE administrator alerting him or her to flaming or other poor behavior on a particular thread.

It's primitive, so I'd like to see if someone could add the following features:

1.)The ability to send the alert to ALL Administrators or the forum Moderators.

2.)Add the thread URL and "Abuse Report" text to the body of the PM message.

What is the difference between Karma and AbuseHack?

If memory serves...the Karma hack "warns" a poster.

The Abuse Button is for anyone to report misdeeds DIRECTLY to an Admin, and works via PM.

NB, I haven't installed this yet...but I just thought about the newer version of PM's....that have the ability to allow PM-to-Email. I'm running a newer version of PM's, and thought the sendto line could be mofified to use that? Oh well, just a passing thought as I look for something else. I'll try to install this today some time and play with the PM's. Sounds GREAT!!
