I got the damn thing working!!
I inserted the last bit on the wrong "1;" line. I inserted it on the closest one, I tried again using the bottom one, and it worked Purrrfectly.
I haven't got any user avatars yet, But I'll post when I do, so you people can check out my first installed hack!

If you have other hacks added, it may be different. In a fresh 5.46 copy it looks like the above and is on line #598.

On here, ours looks like:

Well I installed it ok and everything seems to work fine just need to fine some graphics to add to it now

I am having a minor problem with this script but everything else seems to work fine. I probably messed something up in install but not sure. Please look at this page and you will notice that the first post is a short one and with the avatar installed the post is in the center of the table cell (top to bottom centered) http://asscar.virtualave.net/ubb/Forum1/HTML/000002.html.

I installed the new version of UBB at the same time that I installed the hack so I guess that could be the problem as well, but the post by a dummy account I created without the avatar came up just fine. Any help on this would be appreciated.

I tryed all image under username hack and everytime i couldnt find a line to replace.
Now i tryed the avatar hack and I can find the line:

$maxmemfields = 14;

in the ubb_library.pl

Can anybody help me?

Clean_Up, I didn't find the link to that thread, it was a 404, most likely what is happening, is the you now have a lot of "stuff" under the username in the left column, and when someone types a short message (one line or so) the left column info is taller than the message, so the message just centers itself in the cell...

the maxmemfields thing is line 12 in ubb_library.pl

No there is no maxmem in line 12 and nowhere else in the ubb_library.pl!

Ok, I need some help. I am a newbie, and I tried the hack. I think. It may have been a different one. Anyways, the one that I did automatically updates avatar settings or something. I tried it and it said it couldn't acess file, a problem with the server class problem. So I was wondering if someone could just send me the modded files so I can put them in place of my unhacked files. I have UBB 5.46c HELP!!!

that's against licensing rules "expert", I am pretty sure you knew that already... you have a lot more to worry about than avatars if you plan to keep running 5.46something.. you should update to 5.47e.
