okay, shift figgured out the original freeware-hack, it's similar to spawns. we figured out, that maybe here's something mixed up...>

Ok to clear this out.
This mod is NOT 1:1 coppy from the mod for freeware version!

I took a look on shift's board and he put every code on right place and it still dont work. And i dont do anything special on my board everything is same for the code.

But how ever if shift use my cpane3.cgi it also works for him and we couldnt see why.
Thus for those who have problem with this hack let me see your cpanel3.cgi maybe we will see the problem i like to look on a 5.45c cpanel3.cgi without this hack and i can compare it with my own cpanel3.cgi

No thank you to say that i support someone, but shift use still my cpanel3.cgi to let work this.

I am going to compare a clean cpanel3.cgi with my cpanel3.cgi and i let you know what the result is

works great now... i was wondering, because the midding line was used by the newsread.cgi-mod, too - but i was afraid messing by board up by trying to include the missing line *G* .. thanks so far und you may have a look @ the board >

Troubleshooting again:
today we switched our categories ON and on ultimate.cgi the forum was missing; the header and footer-files worked so far as well as the 'active.cgi'-table as well as the privateMessage<tr>; it seemed like that the forum wasn't able to read the category-variable from the settings file, caused by this hack: i switched the category-function in the control-panel OFF and the hacks images on our site disappeared. we had to re-enter the graphics name on the forum-cp again ..

any ideas? we have to switch the category-thing on for our new project

Guys, do NOT install this hack - troubleshooting all the time, again and again and 'the author' does not provide support/help to fix/avoid troubleshooting/bugs... i'm getting mad about this hack once a week even it makes my board looking quite nice ...

you mean the hack works fine, but messes up once a week? that's odd

it works on other boards...are you sure its not something you're doing wrong? I'm not trying to insult you, I just really wanted to install this mod

it didn't work on my boards so i just reverted back too my old version.
