I think this feature would be better if it would strip the color(put it on a white bg, black text) and strip images..and just include the poster, the post date and the topic(oh, and of course the message text)

atom- it does strip the colour. Not the images though.

I think I've seen this before on some boards already.
Also, this would be useful mostly if you have the 'printable version of page' hack..

Click on the "copy" icon at the bottom of the post you want to copy. It will open another window so you can cut and paste it.

The other option is to highlight what you want, Copy. Then load wordpad and paste it. It'll be in the right format at that point. then Cut that from wordpad, then edit in a decent text editor. Its what I do anyway...
