I've got another quad-core + nvidia gpu coming tomorrow... our points should pick up faster then

i grabbed a couple 9800 gtx oc's for cheep on newegg the other day. they each crank out 5000 points per day..

and the nvidia gpu client will keep getting better over time !!

Sweet, I'm going to have to make do with these... my next few pc purchases will be a few netbooks and they barely have enough power to run themselves

hmm... I've got the gpu client installed (they're on Beta 11 now and the official nVidia CUDA drivers are the 177.35's now), but I'm having issues with the SMP client - it looks like I get an error message during install but the window closes too fast for me to see it. I get all the way to entering my username and pass for the computer.

yah, i found that going pure GPU and abandoning SMP was the best bet, if you have an NVidia beast..

matter of fact, on one of the Nvidias, you can run multiple GPUs and rack up many more points than the SMPs can..

the SMPs just don't give the bang for the buck that the GPUs do.

hmmm... but it was one of the reasons I took the free upgrade to the quad core

Thanks for the prayer, it seems to have worked - it's windy but not nearly a hurricane. Hopefully it will move on into Texas and give central/north Texas some much-needed rain.
