I want to create a group on threads based on postcount (whereby after a certain postcount a user is assigned to a group).

Reason? We want to have it so that new members can use the Forums and post messages, but they cannot CREATE a new topic until they have posted, say, 5 posts.

Is something like that possible?

I would like to comment that I do liek the idea of postcount based groups in threads; but there are some things that are needed to be worked on in reguards to how powerful groups actually are.

Not at the moment

There are alot of requests for group baised permissions
Hopefully they will come along, well i think they have to come along personally.
