How can I check the variable $config['path']?<br />it's on the 'avatar.php' file and I'm wondering if it could be wrong, this is why I cannot get the avatars?<br />This is the line:<br />$dir = opendir("{$config['path']}/images/avatars");<br /><br />How can I 'print' the $config['path'] just to see if it's right?<br />or where do I set it on UBB?

chaos,<br />I just put 2 new posts below this one, today, before I read your questions...<br />Re-stating:<br />Still not getting the results.<br />At certain point I tought was my firewall, so I desable it (norton) but still the same no images.<br />I re-created from the original again, (yes, I do have backups <img src="http://www.ubbdev.com/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.ubbdev.com/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> ), and still not showing up.<br />It only opens a small window (was 900x600, I changed to 500x400) on the foreground but nothing else.<br />You can see it if you try to register at:<br />http://imigrar.com/forum<br /><br />I'm running out of ideas here <img src="http://www.ubbdev.com/forum/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" /><br /><br />Thank you<br />EHM

Open your control panel and look for DB's Paths and URL's settings and you should see the Relative URL to Images Directory. This is your relative path an you should have an Avatars Folder inside that directory. Make sure you uploaded them inside the Avatars directory. Mine is UBBThreads/Images/Avatars/all go in here <br /> <br /> How did you upload the new files? Make sure your permissions are correctly set for the new images if you used FTP <br /> <br />You should not have to change anything (path related)in avatars.php all paths are set in the control panel <br /> <br />Since the modification were only minor the only updating I will probably do will be adding more Avatars images <img src="http://www.ubbdev.com/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

I just did the upgrade to 6.5.1 b4<br />The stock program is working with all your avatars (of course that is a small screen with few avatars).<br />Tomorrow (is too late now), I will follow the steps to do your mod change on those 2 files and see if I catch what could be wrong here <img src="http://www.ubbdev.com/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /><br />THank you

Got this added to my 6.5.1 test board, seems to be working fine. Still uploading all the avatars, though . . . Over 1300 total when added to what I had before.
