These look very nice. I'll give them a whirl <img src="http://www.ubbdev.com/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> Thanks for sharing <img src="http://www.ubbdev.com/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Too many men. There's too many people making too many problems, and not much love to go around. Can't you see this is the Land of Confusion? <img src="http://www.ubbdev.com/forum/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />
J.C.<br /><br />I'm working in implementing these templates, rather than just using the header you posted and I'm confused on one item.<br /><br />Where in each stylesheet that I use (I allow users to choose the look they want) would I paste the css info you supplied in the readme file?<br /><br />Thanks, so far, what I've tested looks good.
Add it at the end of each css sheet. Then it's less confusing. <img src="http://www.ubbdev.com/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> BTW the JCheader is separate.
You point out that this is working under v6.4.1, but is there any reason it won't work with v6.4? <br /> <br />I'd rather not do the minor upgrade to v6.4.1 when v6.5 is around the corner. <br /> <br />Thanks....
Not sure, been a while, run a compare on the stock templates from 6.4 and 6.4.1 and see if there is any differences.<br /><br />But be advised, I am NOT making a set for 6.4 <img src="http://www.ubbdev.com/forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Here is a link to my board so you can see how I've implemented the templates so far.<br /><br /> Truckers Road Forums <br /><br />The only thing I'm missing is how to add the data to the header at the top of each forum? Gotta be simple, I just haven't seen it yet I guess.<br /><br />You'll notice I kept my old nav bars in order to keep my links, etc at the top and bottom. So far, comments I have had have been positive.
Got the new file done and installed. However, maybe I missed something, but, there doesn't seem to be a link at the bottom of the page to return to the current page index as on the standard template? Did I forget something or what? It's a bit aggravating when viewing all messages to have to scroll up to the top again to return to the forum index. Otherwise I'm liking the looks of it all. <br /> <br />One more question. On your main forum listing page on the demo site, it has a box that pulls in the information from your Announcement forum. Is this a different mod?
I've removed you templates due to incessant complaints about not being returned to the forum/top posting after making a post. I'm not sure what their problem is, as it worked fine for me, but I've had more than one person screaming about it and no one able to really tell me what is going on, it's not worth the harrassment I'm getting.
No, I don't have an announcement working on it. They keep saying when they click on a thread with a new posting, they are taken to the very first post in the thread instead of the latest one. However, it works perfect for me everytime, and I am unable to create their problem. It's getting very frustrating, to say the least.
I just went back to the standard templates and all is well. People who were having problems are now saying they are being taken to the newest posts in a thread like before I put your templates online. This is very strange, since they worked just fine for me???
Tell me about it. I've gone around and around with them trying to explain that templates do not control how the software runs and that they just control the look and feel of the forums.<br /><br />The only thing I can think of is they may be getting confused because the default links for returning to the forum indexes are no longer there. I even compared their accounts to mine as far as how they are configured for viewing the forums and they were identical to mine. Because of that login as bug in 6.4.1 I can't even log on as a user to check it for myself..sigh.<br /><br />Let me put yours back online and you can have a look through the forums and see if you think they are functioning properly.
Ok, but I'm betting it's not your code, seeing as it's working perfect for me. I've been screwing around with this one all afternoon and am no closer to a solution than when I starte.. <img src="http://www.ubbdev.com/forum/images/graemlins/smashpc.gif" alt="" />
I've heard back from one moderator so far. She has bookmarked the forums she uses and doesn't come in via the boards main index. I'm going to bookmark a forum and see what happens.
Test completed by bookmarking not only the forum, but then the thread and still was unable to create the problem they are supposedly having. I'm going to leave them online as it has to be something they are doing to cause this. That's the only thing that makes sense.
Ok, I just logged on as one of the moderators who says she is having this problem. Worked just perfect for me as I was taken right to the first new post as it is supposed to. You don't think it could be a browser issue due you? I'm out of ideas on this one and don't know what else I could do to test it. As far as I'm concerned, it's working like it's supposed to.
JC, I'm going to forget about using your templates as I'm just getting too much grief from all my moderators and co-admins. It seems that I'm the only one not having problems with them and I'm out of ideas. Sorry.
Personally, I don't think they know what the heck they are doing or talking about. It's idiotic to think that only one person can have them working properly and everyone is having problems. I know it's not your templates but rather the problem is PEBCAC (PROBLEM EXISTS BETWEEN CHAIR AND COMPUTER).
The way it looks I won't be able to get 6.5 due to my membership expiring prior to it's release to the public and I'm not going to be able to renew until probably until later this summer, so they will just have to wait. I suppose I could really mess them up and install the sidebar mod and not give them a choice to use it or not use it.. In a bit of a cranky, onery mood this morning after the debacle of the templates that "caused the board to malfunction" or so they would have me think.<br /><br />I have
