Greetings,<br /><br />I am getting several of the following errors visable in the error logs.<br /><br />/ubbthreads/pals/shoutdisplaypal.php<br /><br />Unable to do_query: SELECT U_Username,U_Password,U_SessionId, U_StyleSheet, U_Status, U_Privates, U_FrontPage, U_Number, U_Banned,U_Agree FROM w3t_Users WHERE U_Number = '102' - Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/tmp/mysql.sock' (2)

"Can't connect to local MySQL server" generally means that the MySQL server itself is down. Speak to your host...

Are you still seeing these.<br /><br />Cpanel did an emergency security update of their software which hosed up the CPanels ofmany of the servers on the net. In fixing that today - a reboot was needed. So these errors are common when the box is rebooted as there is a few moments when the webserver (Apache) comes back online but MySQL hasn't quite started up yet.<br /><br />Now that things are settling in on the new box you are on - restarts on our end should be very infrequent. <img src="http://www.ubbdev.com/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Bo_Cat exists only in the w3t_Boards table if I am not mistaken. The query here selects from the w3t_Posts and w3t_Users tables. <br /><br />I had a look at the script and there is something I didn't quite understand there since the selection of the Bo_Cat column in the Where criteria wouldn't do any good since the table itself is not included in the From clause.<br /><br />You might want to have a look at the official support forum of Infopop for .threads. This might be a but <br />(admitting that he is lazy and didn't look himself...)
