Can someone please help me add a domain using CPanel? I've looked through the help files and I'm still not able to get it right. What exactly do I have to do?<br /><br />I've already changed the nameservers for the domain to ns1.servermatrix.com and ns2.servermatrix.com (did that a few days ago so they should have propagated by now). What's the next step in adding domains to an account on my server? Do I have to do something both in the admin CP and user CP?

Have you tried using the Parked Domains section of CPanel?

I think it's the original setup that I'm getting wrong (DNS zones, etc.). What's the basic procedure for setting up a domain on the server? Do I have to create a separate dns zone for each one?

I could be wrong as I often am..but what I did on my dedicated and it doesn't matter whose it is or what its running as the control since the control pannel is only fluff.. but in order to get more then one domain on my dedicated I had to make my own cache nameservers. I got 7 ip's from my host and used the first two which I named ns1.yourdomain.com and ns2.yourdomain.com. I went to my register and told them my nameservers were ns1.yourdomain.com with an ip of xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx and ns2.yourdomain.com wityh an ip of xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx.. I then used my CPANEL to create a new account I called www.yourdomain.com and another account I called www.yourotherdomain.com and then went back to my register and pointed my domain name to ns1.yourdomain.com and ns2.yourdomain.com I could then segement my dedicated server into as may parts as I wanted.. I currently have 3 sites there.. I also have email.. and I am thinking of maybe a 16 player bf1942 install for my friends.. its a 2.4GHz with 1GB ram and 700GB bandwidth...
