That is a mighty fine stat!<br /><br />I've picked up the pace a bit and get on average 10 members a day.. couldn't immagine almost 90 a day!

I run an average of 3 or 4 a day and it's slowly coming up but it's a nice steady pace, my fear is that it will drop off and nobody will come to my site anymore <img src="http://www.ubbdev.com/forum/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" /> but so far so that hasn't been the case.

Hopefully it will pick up again during the week. Usually, tuesday, wednesday, and thursday are my busy days. I'm guessing it's because everyone gets online at work (instead of working).

I noticed the same thing.. M-F 8am-6:30pm its busey.. slacks off on weekends and after and before normal business hours...

Sunday is usually my busiest day and Friday and Saturday's are my slowest. <br /><br />Shortbus, I bet you are getting a ton of guests too. I know when my site was listed on the front page here for the link exchange I had in the area of 300% more guests, then when it got replaced the next week I was back to normal.

It didn't with mine either that I could tell but when the next week's site came out and I was removed from the front page the difference was like night and day. I had 20 or 30 anonymous users then I went down to around 5 at a time.

I see a lot of http://www.inktomi.com/slurp here at threadsdev in the anonymous users, aren't they a pay to get submitted site?

No - I do know that paying to get listed with this is pretty effective (so an expert told me) as you'll usually show up in MSN in a couple of days - but otherwise, they index the web just like all others.<br /><br />Slurp gets content for Microsoft's search (MSN) and Hotbot and the like. \<br /><br />More information here:<br /><br />http://www.inktomi.com/slurp.html<br /><br />Note towards the bottom what they say about "Dynamic Links"... it says that they don't index them by default.... so you have to trick it into the pages looking static.
