Mod Name / Version: Subscriptions without Cron Task <br /> <br />
Description: Run email subscriptions without having to create a cron task. Many servers don't let you run cron tasks, and many people have problems just getting them to work. This solves both issues. Should function with all versions of ubbthreads. <br /> <br />Emails will be sent once per day, the first time the forums are loaded by any visitor after midnight of a new calendar date. The only "bug" known is that if noone visits your forums for a day, the email doesn't get sent until someone <br />does. If your board is that slow though, you may have bigger issues <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> [in any case, crawlers on the web would probably trigger it someday!] <br /> <br />

Info/Instructions: It sometimes sends more than one email a day. I have no clue why - I suspect it to be a bug with ubbt itself and not the modification. <br /> <br />
Disclaimer: Please backup every file that you intend to modify. <br />If the modification modifies the database, it's a good idea to backup your database before doing so. <br /> <br />Note: If you modify your UBB.Threads code, you may be giving up your right for "official" support from Infopop.If you need official support, you'll need to restore unmodified files. <br /> <br />
