I'd be glad if someone could check that this works on 6.3, I think it should but I haven't got a test site for 6.3 installed yet so I haven't tried it out.

I've been thinking of writing this since april 1st, but haven't got around to it. But it's been fun seeing the occasional person falling for the prank afterwards even though there is a sticky post in it which explains it. =]<br /><br />Can't think of many others who will have any use for this though, but I thought I might as well release while I'm at it. I was going to ask if anyone was interested first but it's such a small hack that writing the instructions took about the same amount of time. =]

I still can't wait until next April 1st so I can wreak havoc with my censor feature. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> Hopefully by then someone will have come up with a feature to replace certain words with certain words. (Good with Bad, Short with Long, etc.)

It's such a good april fools prank that someone really ought to write a hack for it. =]<br /><br />One problem though, it might be hard to reverse it, but if that's no concern it won't matter.

The censor feature only effects subsequent posts.

Yes I know, but still, the posts made on April 1 won't be reversable. If you don't have any problem with that then it's ok. I would probably be a bit cautious though.<br /><br />Hmm. I wonder how to implement the case when "long" is changed to "short" and "short" is changed into "long". If "long" is replaced to "short" first, then both "short" and "long" will be "long"... I guess all words would have to replaced with an interim word first and then all words would be changed to what they are supposed to be. Unless there is some smart php function to do this, it's not unlikely. =]
