We use feature price. There support was alot better before the first of the year. They had 24hr phone support for customer service and tech support. As well as online helpdesk. Now the tech support phone number doesn't exist. There is a note in the helpdesk about a restructuring and rebuilding of the phone system. Not sure what that will entail. Support has gotten a little better since it was at its worst at the first of the year. I think they switch to outsourced support without a gradual transistion period from internal to outsourced. I have been trying to get a chron task set for 3 weeks now. Hopefully it will get set one of these days.

But, we pay 24.95 a month. Get unlimited web space, SSI, PHP4, CGI / Perl, MySQL, Host up to 6 domain names, up to 10 subdomains(not even sure what they are for), Dedicated IP Address, no ads, unlimited FTP, mySQL/PostgreSQL database, unlimited email, phpMyAdmin, and Plesk control panels. When we signed up we got unlimited bandwidth but they have kicked it back 25GB for new accounts. This is with the platinum plan. They also have a premium support plan that I'm sure would give me better turn around time for requests but I'm not willing to fork over the extra dough considering how rarely I need support. And technical info requests usually get responses within an hour.

They do have a few different plans. What they claim for thier systems sounds good. I have only had one 24 hour that the public side was down. The private side(where my board is) has never gone down that I know of. They seem have problems with the email servers being slow part of the time. If you kick your timeout time up to 2 mins email programs don't have problem but at times services like mail2web won't be able log into the email server.

I am looking at other options but featureprice.com seems to a descent value and I haven't lost any data. They aren't as stable as they claim to be but from what I've heard there are alot worse out there. If we could afford to pay the big bucks we would switch but for a low cost solution it is pretty descent.

Hope this helps:)
