Hi,<br /><br />Just discovered a problem - I have not done any coding for a few weeks, so this seems to have sprung out of nowhere <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" /> <br /><br />A user can create polls fine - but as soon as anyone votes they get the message..<br /><br />' Forum not found. Please use your back button to return to the previous page. '<br /><br />I created a test vote under my login - and had the same result - voting is set to everyone - but a change to registered users only has no effect.<br /><br />The URL bar is showing...<br /><br />http://www.nonleague.net/forums/showflat...mit=Submit+vote<br /><br />I don't think the spaces are an issue, as I get the same thing with my username of admin<br /><br />I am running 6.02.<br /><br />If anyone has any thoughts, I would be gratefull.<br /><br />Ian<br /><br />

I've seen the same problem on another site... what modifications do you have installed? <br />quick reply? <br />last reply by?<br />auto quote?<br /><br />maybe we can narrow down the culprit...

Yes <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /><br /><br />In otherwords all three - the strange thing is that I have not added anything new for a few weeks - and it has been working since then.<br /><br />Mind you my quick reply mod has always been broken. I never have been able to fix that - not sure if these issues are related.<br /><br />I guess a new clean install is called for - problem is - it is a big step for me at the moment - and one I am trying to avoid <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" /><br /><br />Ian

you can always setup a test forum and work forwards... I am gonna need to do the same thing. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" /><br /><br />polls work when voted on from IIP, just not the thread

I'll look over the polls from the thread and see what may be missing. I'm sure it's a form issue. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

I created a poll in the test board and voted from showflat and it entered just fine. I'll keep monkeying with it till something gives... lol

add 'autoquote' here and see if it still works... I believe it's either that or the quick reply doing it in <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" />

Easier said than done... lol I have never installed them so it may take me a bit. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /><br /><br />If I don't get to it tonight I'll work on it tomorrow. Will do one at a time and see what breaks or perhaps while doing it I'll see what the problem is straight off. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

I believe it's the quick reply mod as it's the only one that's dealing with the form information for posting a reply. Not sure what though as I have not looked at the code, yet. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Looks like it recorded my vote though..... but still only one vote so it didn't accept your anon vote (even though I allowed anon voting).

This is off topic... but posted elsewhere here... but I experienced the "page 13" problem that I experienced the other day at threadsdev.<br />Where i was viewing posts on page 13.... yet page 13 didn't appear until there were 3 posts on that page. I have to try to duplicate this bug on a clean copy... but maybe threads is supersticous. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" /> LOL

I replaced my dopoll.php file with a virgin copy...although to my knowledge...nothing I've done modified this.<br /><br />I no longer got an error.... Anyone else care to try here please. <br /><br /><img src="/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
