How about a editor in the admin menu like the template editor, but you can edit the php files. Plus having it automatically backup every file (php & tmpl) that you edit by renaming it to xxx.php.bak1, xxx.php.bak2 etc. or something like that. awesome suggestion. I hate FTPing to my server everytime I want to add a hack, it would be nice if there was an option to edit the php files just like the templates and stylesheets <img src="/forum/images/icons/smile.gif" alt="" /> Although maybe not a good idea to be standard since people who don't hack their boards may mess something up, but at least a hack for us <img src="/forum/images/icons/laugh.gif" alt="" />
