Is there any way to write these hacks into the addons directory instead? My idea of having this in the config and the directory is to make adding new things a lot easier. Just wondering how we would go about doing it this way if possible.

Do you mean using the adons folder instead of the pals folder? What do you think would be some benefits to using the adons folder? better organization?

Well, it is obvious to me that addons were meant to be written. There is a spot for it in the Admin CFG as well as an addons folder.
