I have heard that there are companies out there that will sell your banner space for you by matching advertisers with specific sites and then take a cut of the action. Sounds good to me as I am not the hot banner selling-marketing whiz I thought I was.<br />Does anybody know of such companies?<br />Anybody had any luck with that kind of approach?<br />In advance……thanks for any advise<br />

There used to be several of the banner companies that offered that option. Don't know that any of them are left alive and kicking. <br /><br />Have you check out the options with like commission junction and doubleclick? Although they are not very receptive to bulletin boards if I remember right and that may be even more so now.

I am using CJ right now with no luck, maybe its just my traffic count…….. Number of Unique Accesses run 300 to 500 daily.

I had checked into it initially when I was setting things up, but eventually decided to do it all myself. So far so good. <br /><br />But doing it yourself also takes time. The first several months did not generate a lot of advertising interest, people were just getting used to things. But over time, then more interest was generated. Probably the biggest issue that you have, is either you do it yourself or go with like CJ or someone. Not sure that you can easily do it both ways, as it would seem to me that trying to do it both ways would really hurt your chances with any advertisers that you try to recruit individually.
