While poking through the source I noticed that the poster's images are not on the local server.<br>If someone is having a poor/overloaded connection you will have to wait until the picture is loaded (on flat mode things may get worse).<br>The ideea is to copy the user pictures on the local server and run a cron on a daily/hourly basis to check them (HEAD) or to have a checkbox "refresh my picture" in the basic profile screen.
