Modification Name: Flash Login

Description: So I figure it's about that time to have a new mod.

This modification will change the way users log into your forum. FYI notices will be returned as an alert and data typed in will still be there. I have not tested this with ASCII special characters, let me know if this does not work.

According to macromedia/adobe, minimum browser requirements are as follows: IE 5.0+, NS 8.0+, Mozilla 1.7.5+, Firefox 1.0+, Safari 1.3+. The reason for this is I wanted to utilize the login button so it wouldn't skew the format of the page. This uses the ExternalInterface protocols.

It's not the most customizable thing ever, so I will try to accomidate requests to adjust this to your needs. I will be unavailable tomorrow night thru sunday night.

Could this possibly help stem the tide of spammers creating accounts/logging in or is that to much to hope for?

I'd say so, since most bots simply grab the field names, if the fields are in a flash file i don't think it'd hurt hehe
