Version: 0.9.1

Description: This modification allows users to select a second recipient when sending a private message. This second recipient can read and reply to the PM like normal.

This mod was written for 6.4.x, is should work without problems on 6.5.x.

Download Link: here

ToDo:
* Multiple (unlimited) additional recipients.
* Wordlets/xhtml
* Additional display of recipients on certain PM views.

Note: This is version 0.9.x for a reason. It has been tested, however there are bound to be some bugs in this version so please report any problems you may encounter in this thread so that they may be fixed.

Enjoy.

the main use I would have for this is to PM mods and admins, is there anyway to have a check box to PM admin and one for mods too so I wouldn't have to add in all 30+ member numbers?

When I change it to use multiple recipients it will be a fairly easy modification from there to send to all admins or mods. The only reason this one limits things to one addition recipient is that I haven't decided on a good way to pick multiple recipients when sending yet.

Ok, I got one user reporting a bug. I have no hacks on my ubb except this one.

I PMed two individuals and the other said that he got copies of all the other person's PAST PMs. And when he clicks on the PMs that are not his ... it gives the normal message about not being the recipient for that PM.

There shouldn't be any bleed over like that between the seperate variables that save the two seperate member pm indexes, but I will take a look and see.

jordo,

register on our bulletin board, www.ColoradoF-Body.com and PM both 'Rob' and 'Rick69' and ask for both of them to reply.
To mix things up, I'll PM you and you just reply back. See if you get any additional PMs in your InBox and we'll go from there?

Okay, fixed that issue as well as a problem with deleting multi-recipient pms.

To upgrade; before downloading the new instructions, use the old instructions to remove the mod from the file ubb_pm.cgi. Then download and re-modify that file.

Hmm, well since this was the only mod you had installed, just start over with a fresh ubb_pm.cgi.

Jordo, would this work on a 6.3.1.1 with PM Inbox hack installed?

Thank you,
Felix

The PM system hasn't been touched too much since the days of 6.2 It should be installable without major modification...

You are correct sir smile

Here's the files for 6.7.x - not many changes from jordo's work to update it to current files. I'm using it on my private site, let me know if you see any errors smile
