I'm assuming that you're referring to line #20 in the members' data files (00000001.cgi), if not, then what file..?

If you were referring to the above file, then NO, there isn't a "1" shown on line 20, in fact, that's a blank line that appears directly above the 'http://' line.

Arghhhhh.................

I just noticed another problem (non-related) that has aparently been there all along. When you click on the {PROFILE} icon or the {USERNAME}, a new page pops up, but you're dropped off at the home page, rather than the requested profile. This ONLY happens from a Topic page, and nowhere else.

ok, no '1' appears on that line even after the submission? I may be able to look at it further this evening, tied up at work right now smile

Ok, I was able to resolve the {PROFILE} issue, where it would re-direct to the main forum page, but the gallery is still FUBAR. wink

Allen,

I see where you were able to get the code to work by manually forcing it through the members data files, and that's exactly the look and feel that I was going for...

Now, if we can just figure out how to get the proper data switch setup in the CP, all will be well in the universe. smile

that's where the issue is now, it may need to be a different profile line - I can get it to check, but not uncheck, or I can get it to uncheck, but not check again.

I think it's working now.... let me know if you see any bugs.

File updated with fixes. If anyone else uses this they'll only need to update the url to the camera icon and album.pl smile

Good, once I got my 1's and 0's straightened out it works smile

Note: this uses custom profile #4, it won't work if a site/forum already uses that and will need to be adjusted.

It has always worked with pretty much any version of everything, because it's a stand alone product.

I have worked directly with Mike Bobbitt and Allen Ayers to fully incorporate this into my 6.7.1 sites, and as far as I know, mine are the only sites that are merged in this manner.

My sites offer "options" to financially contributing members, and it was important to simply be able to turn these features ON/OFF via the UBB CP. The user's login and password info is derived from UBB, and a linked camera icon is placed in the lineup of those who have galleries.

www.gr-outdoors.net -and- www.nea-reefkeeping.com

Here's the new link for the ALBUM.PL software... http://dev.bobbitt.ca/album/

Installed Album.pl, works fine!
Now i'me trying to integrate it with UBB.classic
This is the url to a specific photo in album.pl:

http://album.aquaforum.nl/cgi-bin/album.pl?photo=00006428/DSC01066.JPG

I want to use this photo/url to make a posting in UBB.classic (using 6.7.3) using the IMG tags. It seems not to work (red-crossed gif-file, no photo)

Using this physical link without the album.pl "referrer" and the WITH IMG tags, works fine:
http://album.aquaforum.nl/album/00006428/DSC01066.JPG

Any ideas why the IMG tags with UBB.classic don't work?

Take a look at this url, to see what i mean:
http://www.aquaforum.nl/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi/topic/31/696.html?

Thanks for any help!

It's the filters in classic, making sure if someone is supposed to be linking to an image with the image tags, that it's an actual image - the cgi references within are throwing the error. Really no way around it without opening the filters to possible issues.

There is no problem with their image redirection with posting in any forum wink ... I myself use their legacy G1 product (CGI/Flat) as I've found several quirks with the G2 product (PHP/MySQL).
