Notes: Easy to install, this needs further refinement on the output to get the most out of it. It works in 6.4 and 6.5, should work in 6.3, tho support is only for current versions.
I just noticed something about the index; the heading says, "Posts in this thread" ... but the reality is that it's just posts on THAT page.
Does that make sense?
I also have a mod who uses a Mac, and she said this for how the index appears on her computer:

quote: But is there any way to make the box more horizontal? As it is, the text is pretty much stacked vertically, and the box would take up less space horizontally.
I don't have access to a Mac, so I don't know how to describe it beyond that.

yeah, I should update the file for that
I don't think making the box 'more horizontal' is doable I think it would confuse users more to have the links out of sync with how the thread displays. It's possible the Mac doesn't support the auto-frame that shows up once the number of threads outstrip the height of the box. Which is the way it was done originally (no css'd i-frame). It would do the same on older NS browsers.
Right now, the text color for the heading is the color for the text inside the message; if this is dark and the background on the heading is dark, this makes it pretty difficult to read (plus, it knocks things out of color coding ...
Could you (or someone else ) show me how to change that text color so that it fits with the chosen background color?
I went searching for this to see if anyone updated it for UBB.classic 6.7.0, and I just saw this version.
So I pulled out my multihack file I used for the 6.5.0 board, and I saw that I just had to change one piece of instruction (just what was searched for, not the actual code itself) ...
Anyway, I like having this modification, so I did an updated text file of it ... with all credit for the mod working correctly to Allen and Brett ... if something goes wrong, blame me!
