I am just curious...but wher can I find out what this is? What is a sub team? What are these points?

I read through 6 pages of stats, and I am baffled, yet I am interested to see what it's all about.

Where can I find these stuff out?

First, you must be a member of the cancer project. To join that, follow the directions on the top of this page. After you've joined Team UBBDev yourself, you can then ask members at your UBB to join Team UBBDev, too. If your members join Team UBBDev, then their points can be added to yours for you to get a better avatar at UBBDev. Which...makes you look like you're really cool and all.

Any questions, feel free to ask me, but don't spend your time going through all the pages of all the sub team topics, cause that won't get you anywhere.

What is the cancer project? And is a sub team people that work on hacks for UBB?

Hi Jet, UD is using many computers worldwide to find a cure for cancer. (and perhaps other diseases in the future.) It uses the extra resources that a users computer has available to compute results for research. UBBDev has a team of people that are helping, Team UBBDev. Users that join the UD UBBDev team receive an "UD avatar" under their username for points achieved. Jon has a gold UD avatar which means his points combined with his sub-team points totals over 50,000. One result gives members a blue avatar, bronze is for 10,000 pts, silver for 25,000, etc.

A sub-team are members from, for example, your forum. You would be the captain, have them sign up with Team UBBDev at the UD site but they need not be a member here. The Captain reports totals and members in this forum so we can update the subteam pages and keep track of totals. Hope this helps and feel free to ask any other questions you may have.
