There is a great utility available for those of you who access the internet with a dial-up modem.

UDDialup will automatically connect to the internet, transmit your results and receive your next work unit automatically.

Check out the website for more information. I've been using this on my home pc and it works like a champ! If you want to increase your efficiency and you connect via a modem, I recommend you check out UDDialup.

Sounds good I'll check it out. The only thing I want is to get rid of dialing up and just magically be connected to the net when you go on a 56k.

This program wont work for NetZero users. Tried it out.

I would imagine that anyone who needs to connect using proprietary software, and not just a phone number would encounter a problem.

If you can't configure the auto-dialer, then run UD monitor which will allow you to cache several jobs at a time.

I have 5 cache slots set on my pc at home. Each morning before leaving for work, I make sure that all of the slots are loaded up. Then whilst I'm away, the machine cranks away, and when it finishes a job, it moves on to the next. When I come home, I can check on the status of the caches and if need be, initiate a dial-up session, transmit results, get a new task and away we go!
